Govind Parajuli is a Producer/Arts Manager. Parajuli is one of the first individuals in Nepal to initiate professional theatre production by an individual as a sole producer. He has been working as a Production Designer, Production Manager and Executive Producer in several theatre productions and films since 2012. Currently he is working as an Art Manager at Mandala Theatre Nepal with the responsibility of planning, budgeting and implementing of the projects.
Mr. Parajuli started his theatre career in 2010. After participating in two separate theatre workshops conducted by Cultural Corporation, Nepal and National School of Drama, India, he decided to venture his career especially in art management and producing theatre. He had managed more than 15 theatre projects related to peace building and conflict transformation, multiple theatre tours and International theatre festivals. He produced two proscenium plays and Nepali movie ‘MAHANAGAR’ which is selected in Kolkata International Film Festival 2020. He is the Fellow of ARThink SouthAsia 2019/20 and Global fellow of International society for the performing arts (ISPA) 2020.
